Repaired the chewed up wires under the back of the car, including evap solenoid wires. Hope that takes care of the P0449 CEL... Gotta get these rodents off my car.

Had the front brakes checked and rear brakes adjusted today. While it was up we checked the front end... Control arm bushings are trashed, stabilizer bar end links and struts are not far behind.

Also the "new" to me replacement tires arrived today and two days ago the spare factory aluminum 17" wheel arrived. After the front end work I'm switching back to factory wheels with a full sized spare.

Not sure if I'm going to handle this work myself or have a shop do it... I used to do all this stuff myself until health issues and old age set in.

Shop prices are scary though.

trouble came from not waiting ..
Radiator fittings began to flow. Transmission fluid oozing from both fittings. I saw it, but did not consider it important. I thought that this antifreeze leak, is not great and my Hippo safe.
Leisurely ordered fittings, leisurely chose the new antifreeze, leisurely allocated money for repairs. But when I came to the radiator specialist - thunder.
Guys, I was running to the shops like a scalded cat. Yes, I got and Dekxron 6, and filter, and gasket. This is not easy in Russia, but I did it.
But damn fittings gave another surprise for last. Transmission fluid falling on the radiator hose 2 months . This pipe is not young. From oil soul he really softened. Clamp simply crushed rubber like plasticine, antifreeze poured on the asphalt as the blood from inside the pig.
Thank God, radiator shop is located close to the scene of the accident, I got no tangible losses.
Searching a new pipe in the Friday evening - a special adventure. We cut out a piece of hose from what the road construction machine.
In general, now all things are OK. Hippo hale and hearty again.

Put a coat of Zymol ebony paste wax on it. My last paste wax before winter. It will get one more spray wax.
