fixed oil leak today. It was the dreaded oil pressure sender. It had cracked on the threads so the body came out real easy but the threads stayed in the block. It was fun getting them out. New one went in easy. No more oil leak.

I swapped out mine two weeks ago, followed Whoppers instructions , very easy!

The old TV is slowly starting to kick the bucket so today we shop for deals, I want to wait till after the holidays, and or tear this one apart and replace any spent capacitors or the part that is failing, but it's 7 years old and well all those new features of a smart tv are calling out to Sweetie!
We realized last night the tv was the first thing we hauled home in out trucklet way back in Dec 2009, just two days after we bought the HHR.

Hey Steve. I got me one of those there smart tv's a couple weeks ago for the bedroom. Yep, it's smarter than me.
Anyway. Now I need to get a keyboard for it so I can log into ChevyHHR.net.
Seems that the on screen keyboard won't let me put in both the user name and password. Did some research on this and appears to be a common issue. Resolution appears to be for me to get a bluetooth keyboard.

Drove out to farm for bacon, sausages and cheese!
Then out for breakfast with Sweetie, on the way home we picked up a new TV the remote even controls our Android box and there's an app for our iPhones to perform the same functions yikes! Now Sweetie keeps pointing the remote at me and presses the mute !!!

Hi George, we just made the switch to a very nice Samsung with curved screen.
Got this keyboard and it works a treat! https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Has touchscreen and cursor keys too.

Do you know how hard it is to find straight 2X4's?

Anyways... After about 1/2 hour of sorting through the stack at Lowe's I found 5 and loaded them in the HHR and drove home... Frustrating is an understatement.

Very thankful that I'd had Limo tint installed on my rear window when I got it .It self destructed and the film held the glass in place!!!

It's not really the HHR itself, but I bought a wood plaque to mount my dash plaques on...I got to start staying at the shows long enough to see if I win anything I guess...

Not something I did, but it's interesting stuff like this happens just as a car gets paid off. My daughter, in her excitement over visiting a favorite restaurant, pulled a little too hard on the inside door handle, and broke it off.
Gotta do the front brakes, blower resistor, and see to a couple small dents I might be able to at least reduce.
Thinking about adding a trim color. Herman's all black, besides the chrome bits and tan interior. Maybe yellow on the brake calipers and drums, and a touch of yellow somewhere else to balance it.
