The new fuel pipe from the fuel pump to the fuel line arrived today ! I just filled up yesterday so, it’ll have to wait till the fuel tank is empty before I get Dan to install it .
Just got a zzp order. Only need a clutch, master cylinder, a hydraulic reservoir, clutch and brake pedals to finish the only auto to F23 swap that I know of in an ss.

Reason: Housekeeping
Well yesterday was the day, Dan went on vacation on Friday after work for two weeks, so, Sweetie came out to make sure I didn’t over do anything.
I had to drop the fuel tank to change out the pressure line that has been slightly leaking since March. Sweetie made sure I kept hydrated and took a break every 20 minutes.
I got it changed in an hour and a halve, cause I had practice when I changed the fuel pump.
No more gas smell, the fuel pump gets up to pressure much quicker, and it starts much faster.
New fuel pump to pressure line tube, a new revised part number.
Nope, new fuel lines in March, the one end had a burr I didn’t see and nicked the oring, waited till now to get the part from GM.
Glad you got it fixed! Today the usual drive to work. A couple weeks ago coming home from Mediera Beach after vacation, We were stuck behind a fellow HHR that reeked of gasoline, almost like sniffing it right out of a bucket. At first I thought it was Gregg, but then we got stuck behind the fellow HHR and you could see it was dripping fuel near the left rear tire, I tried to honk but here in Florida people just assume youre trying to be nasty, and they just carried on. With a leak that bad I dont understand how they dont notice or why they keep driving! I am sure fuel leaking near a muffler isnt safe!
Gregg is still chugging along, at about 234,000 miles now. No major issues to report right now, good old Florida car!
