https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/how-...peakers-57258/ I found it. This trick works like a charm. It is a very tight install. I dont think that there will be any extra vibrations in the speakers.

OK so you used tie wraps (zip ties) to the speaker and to the speaker adapter.

The Weird Things You Find...

Ordinary oil change - But I did find a flattened beer can under the hood of my car. Maybe from the PO? Strange - I don't know how it got there because I don't even drink & this is my second oil change as I've owned this HHR for a little over a year. Hard to believe I never noticed it before since I've been under the hood several times. LOL

Waiting on the tropical storm/hurricane to arrive.
Got the SS secured in the garage along with all the "loose" stuff from the porches. Have my little generator on standby in case the power goes out. I'll be able to power the fridge, tv and microwave if needed. The joy of living on the Gulf Coast during hurricane season !!!

George how big is the generator and how is it plugged into your house?
Your unit is inside the garage. What about fumes ?
How far inland are you from the Gulf ?
Never mind look at your location and see where you are.
