What Did You Do To Your HHR Today?
Well, thank you for your well wishes!
Today, we’re in , again, Dan and his son Dillon came over, the boy washed and dried the Sunfire GT and the HHR, then did a nice job with a microfibre cloth and spray detailer. Shiny and sparkly!
Dan spent a half hour installing the new tail lights, a set of IPCW Ruby Reds , a sort of ninth anniversary and Christmas present to Oldblue.
They fit perfect, he took pictures and sent them to me so I could confirm the wiring was correct, then he pulled the HHR up a little in the driveway to show me, all the lights work and no fast flash.
I saw these on the_shmoo’s ride a couple times and mentioned to Sweetie, how the top and bottom light up! She thought like a Dodge Caravan, but no these are way cooler!

And today, well you remember the Walker exhaust system, rotted clear thru in several places, no response from my supplier, we need the car to get to Doctors tomorrow, so I had another muffler installed, they gave me the old ball of scaling rust. Hopefully the lifetime limited warranty will be honoured.
of course these guys are just there to throw on the part and be done with it, they dined line up the top, they didn’t bend the hanger rods to clear the trailer hitch. Thanks to Dan and his ability to take instructions well, and he adjusted the hangers and centered the outlet pipe in the bumper notch! Much better now, no clunks or rattles
