I have been driving to the mall lately. Yes I'm officially a mall walker. Get there at 7am and walk two loops, that's 2 miles and alittle by the app on my phone. Get done with a small break about 8. Going to continue, golf season is coming and I walk the course. Pushing to do 3 starting next week. That's 3 loops not 3 hours.

Washed it today since it's 50° out to get the salt off. 20° yesterday... go figure.

Took Herman into the cold, had trouble starting a couple mornings later, but had a jump pack handy. The battery is over 7 years old, and wasn't one of the better ones when I bought it.
May replace that tomorrow.
Back in the warm, yesterday I took it to the car wash and gave it a nice undercarriage rinse, and knocked off some salt.

I do hate the heat and humidity, but I also hate what the cold weather crap does to my car.

I got a fuel line leak fixed today. My fuel line was leaking in front of the left rear tire. The two 3/8" lines had rusted where they are held by a clip.
I got my 3rd stop light and cruise control working. That only took replacing the bulbs.
Not today but I got my power driver's seat fully operational. That took a wire section replacement and new switch.

The same area mine rotted up into the insulation sleeve.

Today an ice storm has shut down most of the schools and I know I can drive on slick clay on a Saturday night , but then we’re all driving in the same direction, there’s about a half inch of ice on the HHR and the subdivision road.
to bad Netflix doesn’t have classic car movies to binge watch, oh I found American Graffiti, bonus!

Woke up to the smell of Gasoline in the garage yesterday, and as suspected it was the fuel lines rusted.
I had my 2008 panel fuel lines replaced last year, and now my wife's 2009 SS needed replaced.
So GM's mean time before failure design calculations must be...10 years for fuel lines.
They must want us to get frustrated and by a new car....Naw, I like my HHR

I live in snowbelt of Southern Ontario, rusty fuel lines are common.

Today a High wind warning, so not venturing very far, out for a coffee then back home.
At least the ice from earlier in the week is all melted away, very little salt or brine on the HHR, so far this year.

Did you put the lines on? Mind sharing cost for parts and labor? I should do my fuel lines on my 2009.
