Cursed the fact that previous owner buggered up the door lock cylinder then crawled under front end to pull wires off horn as the alarm went off uncontrollably at 5 am. 8:30 am slim jimmed my way inside, 9am replaced crapped out interstate battery with a genuine gm acdelco battery. 9:01 am mentally noted to never buy a new to me car in the winter months again. Much easier to tinker with little issues when it's warm outside.

Grrr...

Truckingeek- Hang in there man... Things will get better.. I've been reading a few people on different forum having issues w/Interstate batteries.
Yet I see many of them under the hoods of old rides at the car shows...

I went & picked up a new 400cca battery for my mower today. My old one was 6.7 years old & load tested @ 56cca.... I got my moneys worth I'd say.

new swaybar links yesterday. Went with the Moog ones this time. Much thicker cross section. While on the rack checked a few thinks out and found passenger ball joint worn. Ugh! These Michigan roads are terrible on suspension parts!

Sway bar bushings need a swap too, but after reading on the process from several threads i might pass that one over to a mechanic...

I guess so, but from what I hear, she has a beautiful replacement to help her get over the GT.

My wife still misses hers that she traded in on her 09 HHR. It was a black GT. They were fun to drive.

Cleaned out the interior from the winter crud build up.

I can't believe how much cancer is developing on it. Maybe time to visit a body shop to get the spots fixed up.
