Maybe you can get a GM Brochure of the SS & let them see the copies. To prove it's existence & Look on KBB to see what they value it at..

Don't give in. You know what the value is. They just want off cheap.

Yep, I'm in the marine repair industry and deal with insurance adjusters all the time. Their first move is to knock it down as much as they can, dont get me wrong they are not bad people they are just doing their job but sometime you have to guide them down your path. I have taken estimates that were in the thirty five hundred range and pushed them close to thirty thousand. Its all about being able to justify your position and being able to back it up. Also you have to be realistic on your numbers, if its a special build or low mile or some other unique thing factor all that in but back it up with documented proof of why its a special circumstance. Dont give in is the key take away here but also back up what you are looking to get out of it.

Very cool!

Today I drove over to nieces, loaded the baby seats in for the kiddos.
She needed it while her new axle is on the way.
Sweetie, picked me up and we are off to her surgeon about her hip replacement surgery.
A nerve battering day so far.
