New Lower Control Arms

Got the new control arms on so gave her a test drive over some bumpy roads to Toms.

That's real Ivory to replace the chrome one that peeled off

Original 128k clean and adjust with new sneakers. Bridgestone Ecopia EP422+ kind of noisy

Front Right rotor still has the assembly line clips holding it on. Pads less than 1/2 worn so those must have been replaced.

Today we are just gonna go out for a drive get some lunch and see the sites, of where ever we go.
It rained during the overnight hours, so my detailed exterior needs a wipe down and spray wax.

Proverbial inside door handle broke on the drivers front left.
Still can open it from the inside but I'm not pushing it.
Ordered a metal replacement.

I'll let you know how it turns out.

You can also "polish" off the gold tone, I did that to my steering wheel & my rims center bowties.. That was long ago, but I don't miss that gold tone at all..

it's clear by this forum and the huge Facebook groups that the HHR community is alive and well... but am I the only one that doesn't see that translated on the road?
I used to always get the car guy nod or wave when I was driving my Monte, whether it was from other G-Body owners or just other classic car drivers
but whenever I see another HHR on the road it's like they don't care/don't notice other HHRs
I guess I just don't have enthusiasts near me

I've noticed the same thing. I make it a habit to give all other HHR's I see on the road a peace sign or a wave and rarely get anything in return.
I can only assume that to some, what the're driving, is just another car. Little do they know.
OH WELL
