That's because of the weird algorithum program that it uses. At engine startup it will "stick" at that temp till you go so many miles and/or a time thing (20 mins or such)
I know mine stayed at the same temp when leaving home for work. My work place was about 6 miles away and the temp would finally change about 2 blocks from the work site.

Filled up the empty fuel tank today from a one tank run from SoCal. 464.8 miles and 15.3 gallons = 30.4 mpg. (2.2L 5spd manual 2008)
Didn't try to economize drove as fast as the conditions would allow on a Friday afternoon labor day weekend.
That 7-eleven fuel did me ok this trip.

Turned Oldblue around in the driveway and parked it. It’ll wait there until the new owner picks it up, next weekend.
The BlackSwan is in the body shop for the bumper repair.
so , I’ll be driving the Terrain to take Sweetie to get her staples out tomorrow.

I installed your radio , the chimes work , but it can’t be programmed to the car because of the different RPO code .
yours is AM FM CD , mine is AM/FM CD XM with amplified subwoofer.

Finally going to deal with my P0010 trouble code on my SS. Ordered the actuator solenoids from RockAuto. But forgot the discount code.
Oh well. My fault.
Also getting a Throttle Position Sensor for my Dodge truck. 21 years and 190k miles. I guess it just wore out.

I FINALLY got around to installing the Stance coilovers. It was a lot easier than I imagined it would be, as I expected parts to fight with me at every step. Got the rear lowered to where I like, but the front's still a bit too high. I'll post up pics once I get the new wheels put on, ride height sorted out, and give her a quick wash.
