There's good reason the Caravan lasted many years and not the Lumina. It was a sled soon to be boat anchor. That van was a dawg and I LOVE vans!
Was at the lake Sunday with HHR and backed out of driveway today and left a line of sand on the sidewalk. Must have used the air dam for a plow.

ok this is like my 3rd set of LCA's on my 2006 HHR and not even 95,000 mi yet!!. one being my fault cause i used the stamped steel ones for the cobalt. but at the time i didnt know better.

and at least 3 sets of endlinks!

but on a good note i was done with setup and cleanup in less than an hour and a half!! and no real issue!!

If it’s that rear bushing, what brand LCA did you use? Have you considered pressing in a set of Moog problem solver bushings? Do you have Moog greasable ball joints?

Today , just a wash and detailed the exterior, we might go for a short ride to check in on the MIL , all restaurants and fast food joints are closed to indoor dining , Drive thru only, so we’ll be barbecuing steaks for tonight’s supper.

the first stamped steel were mevrotechs the last 2 have been MOOG's. both the rear bushings and the ball joint rubbers were broken. pic may be too big can someone resize it please?

i am keeping the old set then when have the time will look into rebuilding them. i dont have a press but will see if an autozone has the right tools to press them in first.

Looks like a good project, I use a ball joint press for pressing in the new bushings and an air hammer or even a hacksaw to remove the old bushings , An 1/8 inch drill bit for the pilot hole in each rivet and then 3/8 , then a cold chisel to snap the head off . There are a lot of how too’s on this site and YouTube.

We decided to go to the Niagara River at Chippewa and walked about 4 miles total , many cars driving by but only 2 walking folks. Then we went to Starbucks, drive thru only , the store is closed to even the washrooms.
Strange times , very strange.

Hear ya, put a piece of plywood on the roof racks first, then the roof sheeting. (I'm thinking you mean light steel roof sheeting )..

Drove it to work and back home, backed it in
the garage and put a car cover over it.
My work has closed until 22 April 2020.
Only body shop and mechanics are working.

Daughter said power seat stopped moving down and only up. I disconnected the battery before removing the seat and saw the battery was the original. So I went and got a new battery. Took apart the switch before removing seat and saw she spilled a drink on it. Cleaned it. Installed new battery and seat works again.

told her to stop spilling stuff. She also got a speed photo ticket in the mail today. Told her to toss it in the garbage.
