I see that some things are the same wherever you are Andrey, here in North Carolina we have recently enacted laws to prevent "Predatory Towing".

But there are still areas of Charlotte where finding your vehicle where you left it is not always guaranteed, even if legally parked.

1000 Rubles is equivalent to $34.17 U.S. at this morning's exchange rates. Many people here would be happy to pay that amount, getting towed in Charlotte averages $200.00 and up.

But as long as your Hippo is free from the clutches of the police, all is good.

Actually I've never heard of it Jay, give us a write up when you get it, I'm curious to see how it works.

Interesting, it looks like an upgraded and much smarter version of the old "Power-Economy" gauges we had in the '70's. I still have a couple of them stuck away somewhere, pretty simple things in those days, just driven by manifold vacuum.

UPS dropped off a new set of G6 wheels today, then off to powder coat tomorrow! Also the Heritage High Roof goes to the painter on Saturday.

^Those G6 wheels will look good on the wagon! I don't think I've seen another one with them. Good pick!

I'm planning to pull my grill apart again tonight, work some more with the dremmel to see if I can smooth out some more areas. I was trying to stay away from having to paint it but I may not have any other choice. I'm crossing my fingers that I can work out the flawed areas of the 3-bar mod to keep the chrome.
