Nice red rims! And the WW2 warbird nose art

Today we woke up to a leak under our kitchen sink , so off to the hardware store for plumbing supplies!

One thing you have to add is the eyes.

Like the olive drab also, not just the red rims.
Maybe add some early Buick vent tubes on the hood to simulate the exhaust of the airplane.

What headlights and tail lights are you using?

Today not much, I’m waiting for new ball joints and front hubs for the BlackSwan, and the_shmoo is stopping by for a coffee visit.

I’m hoping not to have to replace Ball Joints too soon. I just had Mechanic come by again to finish “Part 3” of the front end work.
So now in total, I’ve had him replace:
- L&R LCA Bushings with Moog Problem Solvers
- New Shocks and Struts
- Tie Rod Ends
- Sway Bar Bushings (Moog)
- Upstream O2 sensor

surprisingly enough, the most significant “clunk” noise was reduced from the Sway Bar Bushings, even though the LCA bushings were torn. However, now that I’ve got the Moog LCA Bushings on, it sure handles super tight!!

Cobalt SS rear springs

Shorter than the orginals

Another reason I love these wheels

The rear is now lower

Finally found a pair of Cobalt SS rear springs and installed the today. Found these before the other sets in the classifieds appeared. Oh well, that’s the way it goes sometimes. Liking this stance.

Yours has rear springs, the Cobalt SS springs are lower, and level out the HHR

Take a look under the rear,, You should get familiar with the underside.
