I moved the HHR up the street to higher ground...... We are having a major flood..... Whole house is surrounded with water..... Basement's going to be a loss, including all the recording gear down there...... Guess the Euromax wheels are getting a dirty water bath. *bummed*

That water is COLD!

For now, the first floor is staying dry.... Hope the electric stays on, but no heat tonight.

Hey Graybeard, please don't mess around, if the water comes up any faster please get out of there. I've been through hurricanes and a flood and I can tell you that things can be replaced, you can't, so be safe and be prepared to get out OK.

At this point that's what it would take.

Call fire/rescue to come and get you, nothing wrong with asking for help. Just keep us posted OK.

Be SAFE Greybeard!

Can you get things like family photo's up high , most everything else can be replaced otherwise.

Like the others have said, get out of there, floods can turn real ugly real quick on you. Move what you can up higher and get help if needed to get out.

I'd miss ya dude if you had an accident.

Play it safe and head for higher ground.
