Here's a gadget my wife got me about two years ago as a "gag" gift at Christmas, its basically a micro fiber towel on a stick for cleaning windshields, danged if it doesn't work great. I use it with a light squirt of Windex, but plain tap water works too.

Always wondered if they worked, but the HHR is one of the easiest windshield I've ever cleaned, easy to reach.

Had to remove the lithium tools, so we can take the bus to the comedy club dinner tonight. Should we try to get a seat in the front, by the stage ??

Finally installed rear armrests. Knowing what I know now, I would have used a pair of black leather door pulls. Would have been alot easier...

Well Sam. wouldn't that depend on if you're seeing a "sloppy" comic like Gallagher?

I can agree with the HHR windshield being easy to clean, as long as you have a back that cooperates, sometimes mine doesn't. The one that gadget really comes in handy on is the Challenger, that car's windshield is a bugger to clean.

Back to OT....if my back cooperates, I have three HHR's in the garage all giving me that hurt look which means "I want a bath human, so how 'bout it?". Ever wonder if you've become a slave to the machines?

Gave Herbie a bath today to remove the Fla bugs from last weeks trip, just glad that the "love bugs" were not flying united, they can mess up a paint job real fast if not remove ASAP.

Glad to hear you're back in K-Town, you're right about the "love bugs", ever have them block up enough of your radiator to cause you to think "why is this thing running hot?".

Today I drove mine to work and back. I also saw a pic someone had taken of an HHR on Facebook today. It had California tags that said BASSI5T. I wonder if it's anyone on here?

Cooling Fan

I am trying to sort out why my cooling fan stopped running.
I checked the 40 amp fuse and it was good...not sure what direction to go.

I've been carrying a microfiber towel in my car for years. I got 'em from an auto-parts place. It lives in the door compartment and keeps my windshields spiffy inside and out. It also soaks spills up very quickly.
