It's actually a great way to historically keep records.

I ordered my silver paint yesterday with a little bit of my stimulus money. I still need to order Eastwood's stuff. Their discount code wasn't working yesterday so I threw in the towel and will get back to it today more than likely!

I had to break a hole in the concrete floor to put the shower drain into, the pan sits directly on the floor

Build the framework to install the shower valve and walls

Built the overhead bulkhead , to deal with the main plumbing drain stack in the corner

Nice work!

Basement jobs always require some kind of workaround because the original builder never accounted for someone finishing the area as a living area so pipes and wires everywhere.

Did you chisel out the concrete around the drain with a hand chisel or an air chisel?

Hammer drilled the outside diameter, then hammer and chiseled it out, it broke fairly easily, I had to be careful not to break the 2 inch PVC drain pipe.

Today, I will be connecting the water lines, and then connect the electrical wires to fuse panel, on Monday, I start drywall.

Sweetie is taking her mom out for lunch and a coffee, so the BlackSwan will be driven
