I hope your losses were, Minimal.

Sounds like you got the basement all pumped out.

This is after the water went down about 3 feet and I was able to get part way down the basement stairs...... This WAS my workshop.

Minimal damage? most of that is computer or guitar electronics related..... I'd say it's a write off. I had a recording studio down there as well. Computer, mixers, amps, drums, microphones........ Muddy water and that stuff do not get along very well.

That Suxs dude.

I said, I Hoped the damage was Minimal, Not that is was.
Hope you have flood insurance.

I just have a 3foot deep crawl space here with a sub pump and were no were near any water. I hear the pump go on during long rains but it has never flooded under the house.

Worse I get is 2-3 inches in my garage once a year usually in the Spring when we get those long drawn out all day rains and the water can't get out of the back yard fast enough once the ground is saturated.

Wonderful neighbors on either side and behind me all raised their back yards gardening so I get the run off in the back of the yard.

I Can't raise my yard any as the ground is level with my garage as it is.
After 20 years living here I learned quick to not leave anything on the floor of the garage, have some things on plastic pallets I nabbed from behind a grocery store many years ago.

Was driving to work this morning and picked up a new rattle in the rear of the H. Since I'm a little ocd with that kinda stuff, I actually pulled over in a parking lot and checked it out. Dome light secure. Seats locked in place. Rear hatch shut. No loose panels. What on earth could it be??? Stupid ice scrapper in the cubby under cover and floor mat, teetering perfectly on my softball bag and carwash towel. Sounded like a plastic machine gun going off.

The new lugs should look real nice with the Boyds.

Hay fever and allergies won the day, everything stayed parked while I sneezed my brains out, oh what fun.
