Today, in the rental HHR, I drove 170 miles round trip to dump the stepson at the in-laws.
That gives us about 50 hours of privacy.

Drove around with the windows open... balmy 53* here in North Haven CT where I work... Now I want to put my baby in Comp Mode and drop the gears into "I", but alas I don't get out till 8:30.

 

Cranked up Paddington for a run up to Statesville and back, sunny and 70 here, very nice day. Filled up in China Grove north of town, $3.39 a gallon, still felt like being mugged.

 

No one knows how to post to appropriate forums anymore. Anyhow, did a Wally Wolrd run for groceries and then filled up with some premium 93.

 

Quick blast down to Charlotte, the alarm at the office had been tripped, no damage or signs of entry. Called the alarm people and they'll be there at noon tomorrow, shoots my day in the butt. Had the same two CMPD officers that responded to the last alarm trip, one of them commented on my nice truck, obviously a man of taste and sophistication. Paddington was flattered.
