Unplugged my Panel off the battery minder, had some thunder & lightning. getting it cleaned up for last car show this Saturday.

I'm renaming 'Toughie' to the Norwegian word 'sisu' (pronounced see-soo).
Meaning - stoic determination, strength of will, perserverance, ability to sustain courage, and acting rationally in the face of adversity.
It fits both me and my car.

Sweetie, gets called , the Hungarian Rotwieller or Taz by her friends from her work 43 years at John Deere and she retired at 62!

She is a very strong willed girl! Cancer doesn’t stand a chance with her!
Hopefully it’s learned it lesson and stays away from her from now on.

Today, a trip to the two hospitals, visit her Mom in Niagara Falls and Sweetie in St. Catharines. I might stop for lunch in between!

Here's one for the ages.
'Sisu' started overheating. During the investigation process, I noticed no water flow out of the water pump.
Took her to the shop as I wasn't in the mood to find out the problem.
I believe the balance shaft ternsioner had failed.
The chain jumped of the rails, broke a guide and a removed a tooth from the crankshaft gear.
Wish I knew more as to why. I do know that anything made by man, can fail.
No CEL, noticable vibration or excessive noise.
Oh well, she should be fixed by tonight.
