Took the HHR out for a cruise and too my son out to lunch !
He is recovery well and will be back to work in a couple weeks.
Gets his check up tomorrow if they do not screw up the appointment again like last week !

Supposed to get 24: + only got 8" to a foot ! Winds were nasty but again not too bad. They joys of living up north lol
The weather is looking good this week so if we hit the 30s Ill swap out my headlight bulbs !

After a drive, we ended up at the hospital, Sweetie’s right arm where the PICC line is , turns out she has a blood clot in that arm, she’s home , resting , she is now on blood thinner.

WOW sorry to hear about your wife having that blood clot. My son is on Blood Thinners for the next 3 to 6 months !

Took everything out to run new wires for the doors. Already got them through the door thing and into the door. Now just gotta run them back to the amp. New speakers should be here tomorrow ☺
old door mids were 80w rms. I had 140 to them with almost no gain on the amp. No clipping but very quiet compared to tweeters and sub.
New speakers are 8ohm, 250w rms each. They will get ~200w rms each, bridged. (400w rms bridged at 4 ohm)
hopefully this fixes the issue. Next step will be dual 6.5 in the door or something

As far as I know my headlight Bulbs are the original from 2011 ! Not bad :)
#1 son has changed his once maybe twice, IMO he put his fingers on the bulbs and did not wipe them down :O
And we will be getting snow this weekend :O
But went to my Son;s last night with the HHR and let me say not fun with one headlight and rain :O
So I will not be driving it after the sun sets for now !
All the interior and reverse lights are now LED, And WOW what a difference with the reverse lights being LED !
The interior LEDS are nice but I made the mistake of getting 6500k bulbs so they have a tint of Blue Light to them.
I may swap them later to the whiter light LEDs 500k range !
This weekend my D.I.L. should hear from my son who is at OCS training !
They take their phones the first 2 weeks and limited access to them the rest of training !
A little hard for my 3 y/o grandson not hanging with his dad, They are real close !
But my son will be the first of my boys to make Officer :) We were all Non Coms .
So not much done with the HHR this week, Will order the new speakers from Crutchfield soon ,
Waiting on the weather to get above freezing and warm so less chance of cracking any of the plastic !
Will be ordering the Drivers window switch for #1 son;s 2LT .
Not too expensive. I amno sold on the 15$ E Bay switch. But will see if I can find it on Rock Auto ! Or of Dorman has them !

Today at trip for another appointment for Sweetie, the HHR took this snow storm in stride , the snow tires grip great, stop great , don’t know why I didn’t get a set before.
Another 3 inches of snow last night and more still falling until Friday night or Saturday morning.

Steve Thanks I am proud of my son. Two Tours in Afghanistan ! First tour 5 guys were killed with IED'S :O, No loss of lives second tour.
