Check the upper engine mount, is the sheet metal below it wet ? Is the bolt head for the belt tensioner low in the oblong hole in the passenger inner fender?
My 3 year old upper engine mount an AC Delco sprung a leak , the upper transmission mount was also low and the tang mount was touching the metal frame bracket, and the front and rear transmission were spongy and making noise on acceleration and train tracks. All is silent now!

I remove the old bushings from the bottom, press upwards. I press those bushings down from the top, bevel first.

I install the AC Delco sway bar bushings clean a dry , like the factory, no grease.

Today I’ll be having a look through my security camera footage to see if someone tore off the WeatherTech visor.

I threw away the bad engine mount from my SS manual. Now I wish I would have kept it. I had no idea it might be fluid-filled. Wonder if it’s the same mount as other manuals or something stiffer? Anyone care to provide a valid VIN from an LS/LT manual so I can compare? Preferably 2010 (the VIN I have) or 2008-2010 (SS years) but any year will do. (PM me if you prefer.)

Drove out to the farm last nights had dinner with our friends, drove home the 6 sided LED headlights sure do brighten up the dark road!

Ran errands and visited a friend for lunch. Drove about 40 miles on a combination of interstate and rural country roads, which is typical for getting to and from the city, since I live in the sticks.
And, once again, realized how much I enjoy driving this car!

They are fun!! Today I’m headed out to look at an SS , I’m not 100% convinced I will buy it, cause right now it’s a basket case! I’m looking for a winter project, so I’ll probably have it delivered to the car club barn and work on it there , I’m in no rush .

A basket case SS could be a good winter project, or not. Good luck with that!

In other news, I went to get groceries this morning and on the way back my odometer and outside temp were all 5s.

The low tire pressure light kinda spoiled it, though.
