Today, while Sweetie was at her appointment, I took a drive thru the touchless CarWash next door and then when she was finished with the Dr, we took a cruise out for a nice coffee!

Took a drive this morning to visit with the_shmoo, we investigated a trouble code in his 2006 2LT then topped up his transmission fluid. Then when in the BlackSwan for a cop of coffee, thanks for the coffee!

You're welcome Steve. Cleared codes and did the battery lobotomy. Test drove and the code PO977 is back.
So when the weather is nicer will attempt the shift solenoid replacements. Till then it's parked.
Looking forward to another learning experience. NOT.

Applied some Jax Wax Super Blue to the window moldings, as they were starting to fade slightly. Wish I had a garage!

Stumbled across this and it rang a bell. Maybe someone will recognize this Canadian car. I wonder if the hubcap hack got written up here. I think maybe the underlying color is cyber gray.

A fun patina paint job over the OEM paint, I’ve seen this one once last fall, it was on the Hwy 6 area near Jarvis Ontario. So I didn’t see those hub caps , they appear to be possibly Toyota caps that clip on the double thread lug nuts.

Got a 2011 LS Panel yesterday, Typical white fleet vehicle,273,000 miles, slept under a tree for a year or more. Today I removed all the adhesive left behind from the old company logos

and detailed it. My 3rd HHR, love them, always wanted a panel. I also have a 2006 LS 2.2 5 speed Sunburst Orange!

Today we planned on going to Caledonia to check out that patina on the 2009 and that cool tailgate treatment, but inclement weather might deter us from going. I might just leave the BlackSwan parked today.
