Restored the headlights with Cerakote Ceramic Headlight Restoration Kit. Not bad for under $20 and about an hour of work. Hopefully it will last.

This is what they looked like when I started. The guy I got this from said that he did the toothpaste thing about a year ago.

And the finale results.

The passenger side has a couple of waves in it (that is my fault, trying going over it again.)

It will. It's a mild rubbing compound and it removes layers. I use a wheel to apply it. Just be careful not to burn it. Takes 5 to 10 minutes each.

I did it completely with elbow grease. LOL This kit uses chemical to remove some of the oxidation and then use 2k and 3k sanding pads to prep the surface for there ceramic coating.

This is after the first pad of 4, in the picture below it is the really dirty one on the left.

I just want to know what coating will last more than a year or two besides 2-part automotive urethane clear coat. Maybe nothing.

Yesterday a day trip along the north shore of Lake Erie to long point for a walk, then to Tillsonburg for lunch , then a cruise home . The BlackSwan ran smoothly and quietly. We are planning more day trips as the weather gets warmer and the roads are not icy.

Installed to new AC Delco TPMS sensors on the left side of the car, programed with a cheap $13 tool and no more light on.

Awesome! Maybe right sides tomorrow?

Today nothing with the HHR , I painted the new windows trim and baseboards, Sweetie had a funeral to go to with her work colleagues. One of her work friend past away last week. Sad, she died of the same disease, Sweetie had in 2015. But she didn’t want to have chemo treatments or have a stem cell transplant. Sad, indeed
