I had vinyl lettering installed for my business. Kind of hated doing it, but it really pops and will be good for business. That was the excuse I used for buying the HHR panel in the first place! LOL

Did a lot of driving around in pouring down rain and high winds today. Took the kittens in for their "boy/girl" surgeries first thing this morn, before sunrise, then back home. (50 miles each way to the humane society, and did this twice) Went out later and stopped at several stores on the way back down to recover "fixed" kitties late this afternoon. Found a couple of license plate frames and a cool new carpet for the back of the HHR at a Big Lots (Pics sometime in the future) They're cool and not very JCWhitney so gasman won't get to bent out of shape

I stopped at a music store and bought a new guitar amp... seeing as my old rig was under muddy water for a few days (not a good thing) I got something I can carry now yet is still capable of a lot of great tones. The old rig was 3 huge speaker cabinets and two amps. I'll miss the stereo but the new amp besides being portable is more flexible tonally.

Kitties are home now, resting and seem un effected by todays nightmare........ and I'm worn out.

Kudos to the Goodyear Eagles and the suspension mods in the wind and rain today. I had one of the most stable rides out there!

Sounds like a full day Greybeard glad you got the new equipment,to peruse your interests. I got caught in a midwest style downpour this afternoon coming back from procuring the last T-bolt clamp I need and Happy to report my goodyears ripped right through the hiway rivers left them all in the spray. LOVE THEM.

Both of mine are parked in Carolina, did put 831 miles on the rental today, starting to wonder if it was used in a crash test....the noises it makes, oh boy!

Its been a while since I rang up that many miles in a day, but even though the rental HHR is slowly disintegrating around us, we're feeling good. I've always loved the seats in HHR's for long trips, they never beat me up like some Chevy seats have in the past. Despite sounding like a continuous plane crash, we've found ourselves growing fond of little "Zippy the Wonder Slug".
