Cleaned the snow off it, started it, rolled it down the driveway as I cleaned the 4" of snow off the driveway, pulled it back up. Parked.

Hey Sun,
They just arrived, they are Highly Polished Billet Aluminum as shown.
I'd say a Mirror Polish, pretty darn close to Chrome.

I ordered just one pair for the Hood Struts, they look very nice so I just now placed my order for the rear hatch struts. (they are the same, just order 2 if you want front and back. They are $45.00 a pair with Free Shipping.) I also wanted to SEE what they looked like before buying the second pair.

I plan on clear coating them just so I won't have to hand polish them until the clear coat wears off. 2-3 Light coats should do for a year or two, maybe 3.

They are Not Chrome, but they will look Sweet with Chrome accents.

I am using Chrome and the Mirror Polished Stainless Steel and Polished Billet Aluminum and they all mix very nicely.

I am waiting on the UPS man to deliver a Bunch of stuff I ordered from Race and Street Today, and that order has Chome and Stainless Steel mixed, should look Sweet once installed.

Oh, just search for- Chevy HHR billet hood strut covers FREE S&H
You'll find them, says there are 4 left now after I paid for my second pair.
