Just did my first one too, Passed. What a scam. This car would pull a code way before it ever failed a smog test...oh well. Todd (Uma)

I bet it had a soft ride and soft comfortable seats. When I was a teenager we lived in France for a couple of years and dad had a couple of company cars, mainly Renault R-16 and R-30. They both had great seats and a deep travel, soft suspension-ride. My friend's dad had a Peugeot 405 and 504 and a VW camper van. We marveled over how comfortable the Peugeot's seats were. What did we know, I was 16 and it was 1975.

My Spare pair of HHR GM (Velvac) Spotter Mirrors arrived today after about a 4 week wait.

I bought a pair awhile back, someone here pm'd me to ask about them about a month ago.

He then informed me they were no longer available, but that Velvac would make a set but it would be a 4-6 week wait.

As soon as I heard that, I placed my 2nd order for them Quickly. I got the same info, only thing added was Velvac was gonna stop even speicial orders for them very soon.

I got Free Shipping so for 25.00 I got a spare set to replace them when and if needed.
Nice to have them on any car, but needed/wanted even more on a Panel.

I figure winter Salt use here and just the daily elements will take their toll on them as time marches on, so I wanted a spare pair to replace them with a fresh New set when needed.

Plan on Keeping my little Panel for a long time, so most of these type HHR items are gonna be long gone and real hard to find in a few years or less.
Aftermarket makers of HHR stuff is gonna start drying up now that the HHR is no longer made.

As I have said before, if your wanting something for your HHR to make it your own, get the stuff while you can. Places like Velvac, the suppliers to GM for the HHR Spotter Mirrors have already Stopped production. They agreed to make up a few sets, with a 4-6 lead in time to get them, but very soon they will no longer even be offering to do the rare one off.
Other aftermarket suppliers for HHR add ons like chrome, stainless steel and the like will all be moving on to other car parts and Dropping the HHR stuff as orders start to dwindle for them.

Office and back to day in Boo Boo, with a side trip to my Chevy dealer to let the techs listen to an engine way up in Canada, then a quick stop for some steaks(lovely grilling weather this week). In other words, a non-exciting and average day, but you need those from time to time.

Got a clip from Tyler Harvey of his SS's engine starting up and then immediately "laying down" for a couple of seconds, my first thought was fuel starvation, the techs who listened to it agreed with me, so Tyler is off to the shop on Monday to get it fixed. Sometimes these new "Smart Phones" are handy for something.

Got to help out our fellow members when I can, I learn new things here all the time, so if I can "pay it forward" then I will.
