Blue- You got that.. Been there, right ..

Drove my panel down to my storage unit, checked it all out, & removed the battery from My Zero turn.. Threw my tester on it, it's 100% , Load test = great.. Battery is here with me on one of my battery minders..

Been scoping properties.. I know what I want..Hopefully finding it soon..

Drove out to Smithville to the Timmies a visit with the_shmoo. On the way my exhaust sounded really loud about half way there, the two studs at the flange just behind the catalytic converter pipe had rusted away, so when I got home , I jacked up the driver side put it on a jack stand, supported the catalytic converter and drove the studs out, thankfully the gasket is still good, I had bought some 3/8 bolts they fit and tightened up nice . A turn of the ignition key confirmed problem solved It’s quiet like brand new!!

Thanks for the coffee shmoo! Great visit as always.

Stopped out to pick up groceries, and fill the gas tank on the HHR... driving home, we sat in a traffic jam for 20 min, then about a mile from home, the engine killed. Sent my trusty sidekick (son) out to push us around the corner out of traffic and he slipped and fell. No damage done but he slipped in some gasoline on the road. Guess where it was comming from.... YUP! good thung I just filled the tank!! He jogged home and got the Patriot and a chain (which was badly worn, another thing to fix) and we pulled the HHR home (uphill of course) My guess is a fuel line rusted througand no gas to the motor. I pulled the fuel pump fuse for the tow home so it wouldn't pump out that liquid gold. Hopefully tomorrow we can get it fixed up. Already replaced the line down by the left rear tire, this looks to be up by the fuel pump (?

Enough with the problems around here! At least a fuel line is a fairly easy fix. (and done the right way the first time)

** Update** The nylon hose going to the pump was disconnected from the quick-disconnect. I recall heating up the nylon hose to get it to go on the quick-disconnect but apparently the clamp is gone. So much for using a refurbished clamp. (It was all I had at the time) and that was 2-3 years ago. anyhow, 10 min fix with a new clamp. ****

Great visit as always with Oldblue. Glad you got it quieted down, sounded like a hot rod when you left Timmies.
