finished the supercharger install, but the car still won't run

 

Drove him to dinner, then did a quick wash job, followed by a quick run through the countryside with boost to dry him off

 

LBM what's wrong with the ride?

 

not sure if its the fuel pump, the tune, or something else

So far how is the Kit and the Install, a Complete bolt on or still gotta get other stuff and modify for the install on the HHR?






I WANT ONE! (Not sure if I can though Cook County, IL. has some sh*tty Emissions testing you have to Pass or they suspend your license. Other parts of IL. have NO emissions testing for cars, I may have to Move OUT of cook county to add this. lol) And I still have the 3 yr 36,000 miles and another 2 years or so of the 5 yr 100,000 warranties to wait out yet.

 

Is it attempting to run lunchbox like sputtering and coughing, or is it totally dead? I'm thinking that unless you changed out the fuel pump, you are probably looking at a software issue.

 

yeah 843, it's cranking and sputtering for a few seconds, then dies, almost like it's not getting enough fuel. i gotta get ahold of CJ and trouble shoot a few things. i might have to get trifecta to use his old tune specs for my setup, at least i know that tune works for a supercharger. other than the starting issue, and me losing / throwing away a manifold bracket, the install ain't that bad. also, just from the attempts at starting, this thing sounds like a beast, and i haven't installed my 3" exhaust yet

 

CJ should have some insight to this dealio..
