Did my first headlamp replacement. Not hard at all, but I'm glad I read a few posts on replacing first. Only extra step was I had to jack up the body to get extra room to pull back wheel liner so I could fjt my hand in. Probably just because of the 20" wheels.

Washed and detailed the crap out if the SS since I'm planning on heading out later on tonight. Also received my BNIB K&N intake system thanks to GreenmeansGo . That'll go on tomorrow, heh.

Touched up the paint on the hood where the wiper being flipped up chipped it off.

Which one did you get? The little like 3" one that's all over ebay? I've been wanting to do this since I hit 140 and the antenna smacked the sunroof...

More touristy things in and about Toronto with the rental HHR, felt sorry for it today and had it washed, gas prices up here are terrible...and we think we're getting screwed at the pump in Carolina...ugh!

Replacement PS headlight arrived yesterday. So I proceeded to swap it with the temporary sealed beam unit I had in there.

Had to do some "Custom sheetmetal bending" to the leading edge of the fender to fit it in. Plus the 2 stiffener brackets had to be tweeked abit.
Also had to do some wiring repair to the harness where the wires got pulled out of the connectors for the various lights.

Still have issue with the side marker not working, but I've traced it down to a bad ground. I'll dig into that today, if it isn't raining that is.

New fender arrived yesterday also. Waiting on the front bumper cover to get here before I replace the fender, as both will need to be painted.

Wife is happy her HHR is "finally" getting fixed.

You have been patient and "understanding". But have invested and wasted to much of your time and money. I hope you kept ALL service records and related receipts.
Thanks you gents. Trust me I'm going the only direction I'm able to. Otherwise, I'm not able to speak about it.

Just got done installing my K&N intake kit with the help of the lovely wife. Now, to take a quick ride later on to test it out. Only burning question is: to slap on the K&N black intake box cover, or stick to the OEM silver one? Hmm, decisions.
