I know all about doing a re-torque on lugnuts, I do one after the first 50 miles, then at 250 miles, and finally one at 500 miles.

No big HHR news today, took the Spousemobile to see Doctor #2 for a second opinion on my back and the proposed surgery, he concurs with Doctor #1....dang it!

BTW....on that ride Smoothe, looking great!

Took off the broken Goodyears they were fun while they lasted but two of them broke at 16,500 miles put on Bridgestone potenza, so quiet that if the dash rattles didn't give it away, I couldnt tell it was rolling. Traffic was heavy on the way back, but I'm not sure I have enough HP to make them spin, sticky.

843 sorry to hear that they agree. They want to cut on you on a positive note this could be the one that works for you.

Well they look good Sam, hope they work well in the wet for you. I'm assuming by "broken" you are meaning the Goodyear's suffered broken belts or another defect of the sort?

The back surgery is a decision I'm going to struggle with, among other things is a six month minimum recovery with no driving, flying, and for the first few weeks even walking. This will take a lot of thought in the next few weeks, life is always interesting, right?
