In 1956 I bought a 1956 porsche Speedster there was a year and a half waiting list, pulled some strings with Porsche V.P in New York got the car 2 days later, modiefied the engine would idle at 2600 rpm and still load up Eskinderian ground the cam wrong at 7600 rpm it was like you tunnd the key off, was too hot for the street the guy that bought raced it at Riverside, loved the car.
I had Jim Leineweber re-grind the cams in my Flathead, for Torque..
Then I also stroked it, pull like Bull...
They didn't get to it yesterday had no time, so now playing the waiting game.

Jim Mcaffe raced a Porsche like mine I had the same cam that he had which was wrong thats how the person that bought mine found out, he got a new cam, got a question for you in my hot rod days with Ford flat heads with all the mods that could be done , I noticed one of the vendors has performance cams for sale how come no one has mentioned these that are trying to get more HP?

Dealer said I had two codes one was the connector for the lower Tmap from hitting they wanted to know who installed the stg1 so they could blame them. The second one was the turbo release valve and they were thinking I would pay for it all, till I reminded them that they installed the stage1 and I have bumper to bumper till 48k and that re-certification thing was their idea in the first place,so I'm limping on 5lbs of boost till the parts get here.

Sam, be glad they didn't say "your aftermarket intercooler pipes caused it, sorry you're SOL". Could be worse! As for me, going to be getting under the SS tonight to chase a slightly loose IC clamp, damn the 25 psi lol.
