I hate to second guess you Mike, but I've driven dark cars my whole life. After a string of drivers pulling out just yards in front of me, I started running my lights constantly. After that the number of those incidents dropped considerably. It is a lot cheaper to replace a bulb than the front boot of a car.

There are times when lights are helpful, very helpful, I never cease to be amazed at how "invisible" HHR's are to some of the less than intelligent drivers in these parts.

Stood in the parking garage this morning staring at the factory alloys on the '11(AKA Boo Boo)for ten minutes, finally decided I will never like them, time to start rim shopping.

See if they can/will replace the tires and rims. IMHO it's got to be one or the other if not a combination of both a possible porous rim + defective? tires leaking to that extent. Especially since you tote the little ones around all the time, I'd cite "safety hazard" and see if they'd be willing to replace them on a good faith basis.

OT: haven't touched the SS today. She's sitting in the garage.

My thought on Sunflower's leaking wheels is she might be looking at corroded valve stems, the TPMS valve stems are aluminum and being that PA is the land of road salt its something to have checked out.

I haven't kept up with your complaints, Sunflower, but has the dealer checked for the porosity of the wheels. SOME alloy wheels "bleed" air through the rim. A TSB, some time ago, indicated a fix for that problem. I believe the dealer "coats the interior of the wheel with an epoxy type product.

I had a problum with the Factory Firestone tires leaking went to a small tire shop here in town he did TIRE STRESS TEST with air in the tire put it in a machine it pressed the tire from the sides it had many cracks that was the air was leaking from, the tires had about 40,000 miles, bought new tires, had never had this test done before.
