So sorry to hear about your bad day timehhr2, it could have been worse, give some thought to "spotter mirrors" for your HHR....our beloved little trucklets have huge blind spots.

 

My idea for something "similar" involves metal tubing....... I looked at the Spectra stuff but that's as far as it went. They do have the 3" flange and some good connectors though.


On Topic..... Drove down to see Dad, stopped for some Sunoco.... usual Friday stuff.

On the way down I freaked out some guy in a silver LS..... He's probably still wondering how I took that turn at 50mph.

Spectre Performance Memory Flex Air Duct Hoses, they mfg. air filter systems like K&N and many others so its made for under hood, comes in 4 colors chrome yallow black blue, bought the tubing an clamps and couplings at Pep Boys all total $67.00 and 2 wet and dry vacuum tapered nozzles for above the radiator all total about $78.00.

 

Went to a car show an got a Pro's Pick award . )

Got stopped by OSHP for 82 in a 65.. Blame it on the new tires.. I swear my speedo is off. I swore I was only doing 72.

 

Tires can't throw the speedo off by ten MPH..... You just weren't paying attention.
