Countdown to Pioneer Stage 3 Install Today !

Put some of my interior back in today (Saturday). Felt good to be putting it back in, been out for over a Month now.

I am as excited as ever to Finally be getting this all Installed.

The sound barrier took awhile but if I had worked on it 8 hours a day I could have had it done in a couple days. (If the weather cooperated)
With the Heat and Humidity plus days it rained I worked on it when I felt like getting off my rear end and going out in the Heat and getting a couple hours work done on it at a time.

Not as young as I used to be, I don't like being out in the heat sweating my you know what off the whole time.

I found a 6 CD Disk Changer I bought Several years ago, never even installeed it, i'll Surprize Brandon (OrangeWhip) with it and see if it's worth adding in under the front passanger seat.

Might be too old a unit, a non brand name that best buy had on clearance a few years ago and I thought I would add it in to my old system in my work van. Never got installed.
Looks like the old Pioneer 6 disk changers actually, but the brand is ESA. Cheapy unit Pre MP3 so I think it can only play regular music CD's, but I have over 2,500 CD's so it would be nice to be able to load up 6 cd's at a time, and keep the head unit available for a DVD or another cd.

Keeping my fingers crossed all goes Well with the install today.

That's one sexy cluster there Sam.

Can't wait to see it all buttoned up A&P, you've certainly put tons of work into it.

843de,

Thanks, I hope its all worth it.

Hopefully we get it all installed and up and running.

Were just doing a Temporary amp & Sub setup for right now. (Still a NEAT install though) I Hate the look of messy wiring.

That will get me up and Rocking. Then the actual Custom amp rack and sub woofer install takes place.

Got my work cut out for me there with a 12" sub and wanting a Show Quality, and a Stealthy Combo install, my Panel Needs to be fully Functional, but when Shown I want it to be a show piece as well.

I want the main Floor to still be able to sit fully seated in the Lower position for haulin stuff. Up for general Listening. And Out for show Display. No big ol sub box in the rear, Need it made and mounted in the well area.

Gonna mount my Crossovers, in the rear tailight access doors and backlight them with Purple LEDs, and maybe some built into the amp/sub setup for when I am Displaying it.

Today hopefully gets me all hooked up and able to listen to the whole system while building the custom pieces to Complete the whole install.

Swapped out the Factory swaybar links for some Moog ones.

Loving the "no more rattle from every grain of sand on the road"!!!

Was somewhat worried about the bushings being worn also, but that wasn't an issue. I could barely move (rotate by hand) the swaybar when I unbolted both links. So bushings seem to be in good shape.

"Can I get a quick recap on what happened to her HHR"

I don't think a quick recap is possible on Sunflower's HHR, she's been having issues with its electronics since late last year, now its been sitting for two weeks at the dealer. She's been told it needs a new wiring harness and none are available anywhere, its a real mess and a shame that its happening to such a great lady. Any day now a good number of us expect to hear that she's either traded it in or hired somebody to blow it up, it sounds like she's close to option #2.
