Received and installed my GM color matched assist steps today. Took me about an hour in spite of the intense humidity and crummy weather.

getting ready to drive home from the roadtrip tomorrow...gotta get to autozone when I get home. My first CEL. Car seems to be running ok. Got 30.3mpgs on the highway with the back full, me, dad and my boys clocking along about 80 the whole way. Hopefully it's nothing major. Did the KY loop, starting in Cincinnati, heading to Louisville for an evening, then Bowling Green to the Vette Museum and then over to London KY for some family time. Had a great trip and will be heading home tomorrow. Car has been great so far, cept for the CEL. Will keep ya posted!

Might be a good idea to swing by an Advance, Autozone, or something along those lines SmootHHR, get them to pull the codes so you have some idea of what's going on. Might be something simple and stupid, or it might be the start of something serious.

I would do it first before leaving for home.... that way you know...... Could be a non-issue, but you never know. Nobody needs a breakdown that could have been avoided with a simple check.

"And I actually turned on the rear wiper for the 1st time."

I've only used mine by accident, never fails that I bump the dang switch when reaching for something in that cubby hole at the bottom of the waterfall.
