I would really like to know how you accomplished lowering the stock SS seat. I would love to do the same thing as I find the seat way too high even at it's lowest adjustable position.

Heat wave, schmeat wave, gave two of them a bath after supper. It was "only 97" at the time, so no big deal. They're gonna be parked until sometime next week, flying out Monday morning for my Uncle's funeral services in Austin.

Good luck at the shows Rodney B and Sleeper. If the weather cooperates, the HHR's, the SS, and the Challenger will be at the next Kannapolis Cruise In.

Picked up a gallon of Contact Cement tonight.

Bought a $29.00 spray gun from Harbor Freight to spray the cement for my new Black Suede headliner.

Still doing some drawings for some type of embossed design in the headliner. But I may have it airbrushed instead, looking for something pretty gruesome to do up there. Grim Reaper, a Cemetary Scene, Skeletons, something Scarey looking.

Can't find an old artist friend I worked with at the truevalue hardware back in highschool, he and I did my Fathers brand new dodge van back then.

We stayed up 4 days and nights masking it all off as we went, all by hand, there were no computer plotters to cut paint masks out back then.

He did all the fine airbrush work, it was based on Steve Millers Book Of Dreams Album Cover,(my Mom liked the horse with the rainbow wings) did the entire van. He is an Awsome artist, he worked at some custom shops then we lost touch. I got the word out that I am looking for him.

Just make sure you have plenty of ventilation A&P, contact cement fumes are highly explosive. When I was a kid the neighbor put down a new linoleum floor in the kitchen using contact cement, then he stepped back and lit a cigarette while he admired his work. The resulting explosion left him on the porch, rained shingles all over our yard, and pretty much demolished his house.

Without going into a very long write-up,take a look in my gallery pics. I lowered the back of the seat about 2 inches. The front of the seat were it hooks to the floor pan is the part that was a pain. I didn't take any pics of the front hooks and how you have to grind the contact area. I may do a full write up later.
This was just a trial and error mod. PM me if you would like. It would probably take a long phone call to explain everything.

My car is the fricken antichrist. Yesterday was 1 month, one month to the day! Went out at night for a quick drive after new brakes and rotors were put on, as I pulled into the driveway had this happen.

Here is a fun video.

So towed back to the dealership last night, had 8:30 schedualed today for new steering wheel already so yippie. Was also supposed to go and get the new tires after dealership this morning, and have work this afternoon.

Geez Julie, almost a perfect score there, I think you're only missing the air bag light. Sorry to hear that the issues continue, maybe its time to move on to something else.
