I've been told that adding some lemon juice to copious amounts of water actually keeps further stones from forming. I buy the 48oz Reallemon juice at Sam's and go through one a month at least. Nothing since I started doing that.
Swapped out the slippery Michelins for Continentals on Paddy this morning, noticed a difference right away. Now I have to get enough "worky" stuff done before allowing myself to hit the back roads for a real try out.
You have a good point Mr. Grinch, since I've added lemon juice to my sweet tea and water, no new stones since 2008. Whether there is any scientific basis behind it, who knows, but it does work.
Hope you're doing better today sleeper, take care and feel better soon buddy.

Thanks Guys-
I never heard about the lemon juice, but a friend swears by cranberry juice..
Might help depend on what type of stone ? Last one I had was a calcium one.
Some (I've seen pics of) look like Viking studded thorns of DEATH !!!
DaGrinch- Thanks for the tip..

Take care sleeper
Took the Paddy-Wagon out on some twisty back roads to try out the new Continental tires, what a difference! The 'Ol Critter was really nice on the just removed Michelin tires, but now...WOW!
Followed a guy on a really sweet Panhead Harley back into town, pulled up next to him at a light and found out it was a 1960 model, sounded so good. Thought of you sleeper, hope you're feeling better today so you can get back to riding soon.

I went out and looked at the HHR when the wife got home. That's as close as I got.
Got lots of errands done. Picked up another outdoor heater for Movie night in the back yard on Sat on the 11ft screen for a bunch of my 5yo daughters friends.
Ans for all who replied to my left open sunroof, its all dried out and no smell thankfully.

Greybeard- Thanks man...
843- Thanks man.. I've owned 2 Pans thru the many years a '48, & later a '63.. Would love to have em both back. But the barn is pretty full.. & Love my lil Flathead Stroker..
PS: Those Conti DW's sound pretty good by your description..
DaGrinch- Thanks man, I think that makes sense about the acidity..
I'll take yer word for the UTI & cranberries thing..
fwiw:
Was feeling not bad today
, so I grabbed the weedwacker (yunz know where this clouded decision will end), & gave it a go..
In hindsight that may not have been in my best interest..
