So sorry to hear about your damage there Pinballfreak, very similar to what a valet parker did with my 2007 in Charlotte back on the 2nd. Knocked off the splitter and gouged up the lower valance on mine to the tune of $750. If you check with your dealer, the black push pins you need to pop the splitter back on are very cheap.
Geez Sam, if you keep posting up pics of delicious food like that I'll need to cruise the forum wearing my Red Lobster dribble bib.
You do know that your HHR will find out you're on a beach in Hawaii Snoopy, just wait until you get home...it probably won't start just out of spite for leaving it all alone.

Actually, I'm really expecting that. That's why I know where all the batteries are made and know the names of the manufacturer......did my research ahead of time. It's still the OEM Delco and I'll be here for 3 weeks. Any bets????....although I don't think I'll cover them!!
Oh...I should add that I'm expecting battery trouble from at least ONE of the 4 family vehicles....that should change the odds some, right?

Kidding aside, I think it'll probably crank right up for you Snoopy. If left sitting for long enough, HHR's do have a battery conservation mode they'll enter in order to lessen the impact of parasitic loads found in any modern vehicle.
What surprised me is that Sears doesn't have a DieHard application for the HHR, back when I worked at a Sears Auto Center during law school, we prided ourselves on having a battery for everything.

OK, sorry.....I got up in the middle of the night and ate the ribs anyway. You have to be quick around my house if your hungry.
I took it to Mr. Goodwrench, prolly the last time on his dime. 47869 miles and my extended coverage is to 48,000 or November. I'm bettin the sway bar bushings need changing. But they said there is 14 service bulletins about clunking in the front of HHR's, Like we didn't know that.

Well you get the idea.....back to OT...mine are staying parked today, waiting on the plumber to get here...only 2 hours and 45 minutes late so far.
