Saturday was a busy day for me...

Installed a manual boost controller, gone form 8lbs boost to 14-15lbs spiking at 17! Got a little but more "Giddy up!". Gotta be careful though on going over 12lbs until I get new valve springs.

Moved the mic for my bluetooth from the pillar to the spot where the on=star mic would be. Had to pull part of the headliner down, remove the pillar remove the panel under the steering wheel and side of console, and of course had to pull the waterfall.

As long as I did all that I ran an aux line so I could listen to my mp3 player. As much as I love my radio, it doesn't have an aux jack on the front. Five years ago wasn'y a big deal, but it's still going strong and nowhere near ready to be replaced.

Hey lunchbox, spent some time thinking about an idea I have for your look on the rear end, how about continuing the tail lights into the hatch? Nothing says Chevy more than that classic six light look across the rear, here's a pic of the Corvette Mako Shark to give you an idea of what I'm thinking. Your thoughts on it?

Hmmm, that would look good, but i'm about to swap from the '49 Caddy's to the '89-'93 Deville tails.

6 tail light runnin along the bottom would really enhance the lowrider look.. that's just on the topic.

I don't think a quick recap is possible on Sunflower's HHR, she's been having issues with its electronics since late last year, now its been sitting for two weeks at the dealer. She's been told it needs a new wiring harness and none are available anywhere, its a real mess and a shame that its happening to such a great lady. Any day now a good number of us expect to hear that she's either traded it in or hired somebody to blow it up, it sounds like she's close to option #2.

Can't trade in what can't even drive to a lot to trade in. And we all know the dealership who has been working on it won't give me a decent trade in value because they know what a mess it is.

GM should make her happy. She has been patient with them, seems like there are some, the smart guys can't fix.. Sunflowers and Gasmans ??

I followed the trail of evidence today the rock that broke my windshield, used my fender as a springboard to get up there. Had to break out the Dr. Colorchip kit. before & after and the face looked pretty good in the daylight.
