What Did You Do To Your HHR Today?
Painted my calipers red today. I used the Duplicolor rattle can and it did a great job. I looks great. I'll post some pics after I get a chance to wash it.
Change the brake pads. I bought the cheapos about 2 months ago and couldn't deal with the screeching every time I hit the brakes anymore. Upgraded to the store brand ceramics. Much better.
Lastly, I changed my spark plugs. I figured at 61000 miles they should be changed, just to ensure that there are good plugs in there. I used the Autolite double Platinum plugs. I know, I know, I didn't use the AC Delco iridium plugs....how horrible of me. But, I also didn't stray too far and take a chance with the Boschs, so... So far so good, starts great, idles nice and smooth, and has good response. I actually can't really tell a difference, but at least I know that the plugs are new to ensure good fuel efficiency.

Found a local soft touch car wash & had the bugs from yesterdays 476 mile trip removed (along with some final detail work mostly on the front & mirrors). Found a couple stone chips too. Hope that isn't a pattern.
98 degrees and Humid with scattered thunderstorms in the area and clouds are starting to roll in and getting darker.
I am outside working on my Panels Doors. The filler pieces I made, I covered the back sides with 100% of the audio barrier, then I cut 3" strips and stuck them on the inside edges of the openings and Pressed the fillers into them.
Reaching in and pressing them as a sandwich together then on the second opening in the door I mounted the 3" strips and pulled them forward and out, then Pressed the filler piece into it to get a grip.
Covered all around the outsides edges and they are Locked in place now, can't fall out, or fall inside the doors.
Heres a look at one just about Done and ready to install the door panel.
3 more to go.

The inside door skins are all covered @ about 98%, I got Everything I could reach inside covered.

Took Stiglitz to the Doctor. They tell me that he is going to get a new Heart Wiring harness. His throttle position sensor is v1.0. They have a v2.0 out, so he will be getting the upgrade, and hoping that fixes it!
