What Did You Do To Your HHR Today?
We still have the Spousemobile, but she decided to hold onto her Civic Del Sol that she bought new. Even though I'd like to shoot the little monster sometimes, she likes it and it still gets mileage in the low 40's on the highway.
Have no fear sleeper, the Spousemobile is here to stay....she just has to drive her little green tree frog sometimes too.

You're bad..
I finally got around to taking some pics of the crossed flags that I installed in place of the GM chicklets.
A friend talked me out of drilling holes in the doors to mount them. So I cut off the mounting posts, and filled the backside up with JB weld (duct tape in a tube), and applied the 3M trim adhesive.
They are the same emblem I used on my grill,so the set works together nicely.I tell people it's a rare Experimental Corvette delivery truck

No damages but I've got a ton of small limbs to pick up tomorrow!
-5 quarts of Mobil 1, and a filter.
-New spark plugs just for kicks.
-Removed the wolly worm with the turtle attached, and installed a new oil cap and CGS intake that I bought off the forum.

It seems a little more responsive, but it could be that the drone of the intake makes it sound faster..sonic performance mods
Now I have a lot of rubbing to do to clean the engine room up.
That little mill looks like an old Offy once the Turtle is extridited to the storage barn.

"That little mill looks like an old Offy...."
It does, doesn't it?
Now that you've got the new intake on, pull the #41 fuse and let it sit for about 20 minutes and then put it back (not running of course) This clears the "learn down" feature in the ECM. Some guys will then take it out and run it hard so it "learns" hard is how you drive (I don't know about that, but definitely clear the ECM)

Did GasMans Wolo Bad Boy install (used a slightly diff location though) and unique w's turn signal mod. I was supposed to be doing front brakes but got lost in thought.....
Got about 30,000 out of the original pads & rotors in NY & LI driving. Thats a 1st for longevity than any car I ever owned.
