I was going to start wrapping my interior in suede and wipe the metal down with some lacquer thinner, but a guy showed up to get an install in a really pristine 2009 Police Package Tahoe. Ended up spending 5 hours on it, putting in an indash, 4 speakers, subs, 2 amps, as well as a Viper 5901 remote start/alarm; only to find out that the rear door lock actuators were burned out. Spent 2 additional hours messing with the door locks until I finally gave up and called the customer.

Had a new O2 sensor installed to get rid of the pesky CEL. She sat in the garage this weekend, I gave her a respite.

Today? Nothing, Tomorrow I'll be doing my 3rd brake job in 3 years. Aren't brakes supposed to last longer than tires? I get less than 20K out of these under-designed brakes.

I stayed home yesterday and installed my black suede headliner, will install it in my Panel Today.

Hint-Never use Non Stretch Material!

Ebossed Spider did not happen, after Fighting the material tooth and nail, I decided No way was it gonna work with the material I bought.
Had ZERO Stretch and was a Bi tch to get installed.

I ended up with 2 Neat strategically place folds so I am calling this one, Pratice. Ill redo it in the Spring with a more Stretchy Suede from a auto supply house here instead of a womans sewing store.

I've got to add a new headliner board to my list of things to buy for my car. I ended up TRASHING mine by using that glue with the cheap suede...

I think Synergy unbacked suede is the way to go for this. Yours looks a hellova lot better than mine.

Headed to the office in the Spousemobile, then stopped at Enterprise to arrange for a rental to use for an unexpected trip North. We lost a close friend this morning to breast cancer, she fought the good fight, but 56 is way too young.

Due to the sudden nature of our trip, Paddy's body shop visit has been rescheduled to next Tuesday, "Sir" will be under the knife for about 3 days.

Head over to that DuBois check out all they have.

When I redo mine I might go with one of the exotics I had seen.

Installed mine today, looks pretty good. I gotta get one of those soft little suede brushes and give it a brush in one direction.
