Have a safe trip Old Lar, from what my employees in NY tell me, the leaves are starting to turn a bit where they are....so you might catch some color in the Northern Tier of the state.

I sure hope so. I had buyers remorse about three days in, most likely due to having a car payment for the first time in almost 10 years, but as I got use to the car and rearranged my income/outgo for those first few weeks, I started to fall in love with it. I wish I could read all the posts to this site, but that would be impossible. I just narrowed it down to what I like and what I plan to do.

Yea everything works just fine. Just wet carpet and seats at this point. Need to drag the wet vac out of the basement.

Looked at the Air Filter - Thanks to Black Rose for the FANTASTIC "How To" on removing the air cleaner unit. Would never have been able to complete it in the short amount of time without the help, including the first step - having a HHR! Air filter looks good.

Also checked the cabin filter - also looked good.

This was the first time I looked at either since purchasing the beast back the 1st of Aug.

Rear wiper gone

Removed that rear wiper today that I really never liked or used. Plugged hole with a cap I painted to match. Thanks to those members who contributed to the how-to for removal.

Looks clean!! Good look, but the wife would never go for it here.

Took the short bus to the mountains. Our friends were camping out there, we went for the day, It was gorgeous up there, the water level was low, but we caught some native rainbows. Mountain fresh stream to campfire grill, lunch don't get no better than that.

on the wiper mod frank6060, looks good!

Gee Sam, you're just having all the fun this weekend it seems, very pretty country there.

Paddy, Boo Boo, The Spousemobile, and their garage cohorts are all tucked in today....rainy, damp, and altogether crappy weather this weekend in Carolina.

I gotta ask... Would that be Mt. Ranier in your first pic?
We were supposed to go camping this weekend but cancelled since Mike was nice enough to share some of his damp weather with us a little further north. So, my son and I took the HHR for a little spin looking for some stereo parts for his car.
