Finally got an actual UPS Tracking #, and not just the "a shipping label has been created, check back later".

My Rear Spoiler will be here on Monday.

If it's not raining it will be installed Monday afternoon. (Calling for rain/thunderstorms on Sat. and Sunday. Hopefully they blow on through and Monday is nice like they are claiming right now.)

I need to get the Front Visor and the Stone Guards (the early model type, Thick Plastic ones) Painted so I can install them.

Tried wrapping Chrome Vinyl around the Stone Guards, but the Chrome vinyl did not want to Heat Stretch very well. Would have looked Nice if it had worked out.

Off Topic a little- I ordered up a new Video Card for my PC.

EVGA 02G-P3-1559-KR GeForce GTX 550 Ti Video Card - 2GB, GDDR5, PCI-Express 2.0 (x16), Dual DVI, Mini-HDMI, DirectX 11, Dual-Slot, SLI Ready

The 2 GB Card should do nicely with Photoshop CS5 Extended, Adobe Illustrator CS5, and FlexiSign Pro 8.6.

Card calls for a minimum 400 Power Supply, I bought a Corsair 650-Watt, 80 Plus Bronze Certified Modular power supply that should do nicely and keep the wiring nice and neat inside the tower.

I bought this awhile ago when I bought the Corsair Vengeance Desktop Memory Kit - 8GB (4x 2GB), PC3-12800, DDR3-1600MHz, 240-pin DIMM, 1.5V, CL9, XMP Ready

Installed the memory the day it arrived, I was waiting for a sale on the video card to install the power supply.
Tiger emailed me a nice $20.00 coupon and with a $10.00 mail in rebate I bought it.

Can't wait to try it out. Not a "gamer" this is just for some software I use.

I have 8GB of Ram in my PC now, maxed out for the motherboard, wish I could have added 16 or even 32 gigs.

These you drill 2 screws into the sides, under the rubber gaskets, and the center is glued to the glass.

These were discontinued awhile ago, guess the maker/seller, wasn't the best guy to deal with.

These have a more retro look to them than the others that are still available.

I have no problem glueing it on the glass. Can always be removed if needed.

Both of mine were bought used and removed by the sellers.

THAT is wikked cool.

i know that visors are generally 'invasive' with their mounting, but i first thought would be how any vibrations from the visor would transfer to the windshield.
"miniscule" i'm sure, but i'm just leery about drillin' into my baby! lol

I have an original Front Visor for my 1955 Chevy Bel Air 2 door Hardtop, Had to drill a few holes for the mounting brackets even back then.

No big deal really.

My Panel is my baby too just as my '55 is and I wouldn't hurt either one.

The 4 little screw holes are Totally Hidden, Behind the rubber gaskets around the door opening so IF ever removed, a little dab of silicone caulk to seal em. Use it when installing too.

This style one thats still available is a 'No Drill" Visor. Click the Link.

Smaller, a little less "Retro" looking, but at least you can get one if you wanted.

I took Balerion to the dealer to pick up my license plates, and for the 7500 mile scheduled maintenance (almost 500 miles late).

Yesterday, my wife was making fun of my SS because it is more expensive than my old 2LT but it does not have the automatic wipers like the BMWs and such. This morning I had one of said BMWs filling my mirrors going into the loop from one highway to another. I'm trying to resist the urge to email my wife and tell her about the excellent view this well-heeled driver must have had of the weeds on the outside edge of the interchange when he fell off my bumper like he was in reverse. Chevy may not have put a lot of love into creature comforts for me, but...
