Sleeper.....

Glad everything turned out all right, for you AND the wifey.

OT....just washed mine. After sitting in a parking lot for 2 1/2 weeks, and also thru a rain storm that was here, it needed a good cleaning (by the way, STILL the OEM battery with six years, started right up).

Off topic.....you people east of the Dallas tornado threat....and as it moves in your direction, how is your weather?

Thanks to LaRam and A&P for info on spotter mirrors! I just ordered a spare set. The set I bought from GM last fall were about $80 if I remember right.
Does anyone know the part # and cost of the OEM Chrome tail pipe tip on 2LT's. That might be something else to stock up on. I've never seen aftermarket ones that look exactly like it. Thanks ...John

Something I didn't get to do to my HHR today was install my new steering wheel controls for the radio. I got the parts OK but the bezel is the wrong color. It is a dark grey and it needs to be silver. They say it's a SPECIAL ORDER item so I can't return it. O well guess I have a new paper weight.

I think part number is 12499351, if this is what you are looking for, it is $56.00+ s&h from GM Parts Direct.

Ran about 120 miles of logs for MAF tuning. I noticed that there are some 25psi peaks on boost in the logs. I don't remember seeing that on the boost gauge but I probably wasn't looking too hard at the gauge at the time. On my ride, I saw some full on ricers weaving traffic. I laid on a little boost. (for the logs, of course) It was funny hearing the vtecs a poppin' as they tried to ram their gas pedal through the floor-board. Good luck with that.

Thanks Mike, Snoopy & Sam,

Appreciate the kind words.. No I wasn't too happy with the lil wifey having to stay overnight in a strange place. & (of course) because of plane regs, she could not carry her trusty "peacemaker"..

Better day today, glad she is there with her Mom, & she said it was mostly sunny..

Back to OT: My hhr is still parked, so I could get a bike out & get some road time in with some buddys.

Ohhh- I got some sun today..

We got some of that "Sun" stuff today too, but tomorrow is supposed to be a might soggy, then Friday is supposed to be soggier still with a high of..gulp..only 55°.
