I guess I'm one of the lucky ones that don't have a problem seeing out of the HHR.

I ran a bunch of logs yesterday. Each adjustment to the tune seemed to make it worse. I reverted back to the last decent iteration. I knew I had to be missing something. Finally, I saw it. My short term + long term fuel trim data was not being calculated correctly. Corrected that, repopulated the logs, rebuilt the tune. Ran a log today. Working much better now that I'm past my D'oh moment.

How many lbs of boost are you pulling currently?

My logs show 20ish, but I'm not sure how accurate that is since I'm using the 2-bar sensors. (max control range for the 2-bar is 22-psi, I think) The gauge has undoubtedly pointed halfway between 20 and 25. I'm really shooting for 20-22ish with no fallback on shifts and good controllability. I want the boost to be a more smooth on-demand thing that rises with pedal % rather than an abrupt spike. The boost peak can be somewhat relative depending on what temperature it is, how much power is reaching the ground, and what nanny controls are active.

And how is 5-8 more lbs of boost feeling over stock?

Definitely gives it the 'oh shyte' feel on acceleration. Tires really want to break loose in second sometimes even though I'm just in regular mode. Since the auto is limited in first and second, opening up the allowed torque in second is quite surprising. If you run a tune that is anything close to the GMSTG1 you're talkin' a 50+ hp increase in second (with accompanying torque). It makes it seem like all the other cars are nailed to the road suddenly.
