Come to think of it, I did sort of do something to the wagon today... I picked up a GPS through USB receiver today for my laptop at Goodwill for $2.00...... With software. And it actually works...

Rainy day here today, but I did give mine a wipe down w/my Cal Duster & waxed the rims. Good inside job..

 

Attempted to fix my small tire puncture with "slime" today. Hoping it got in the right spot and lasts me a few weeks to save up some money for at least 2 tires.

I'll know in the morning if it held any PSI or not

 

Ooooo.....slime and tire sensors may not go together so well......

 

I was wondering about that , is fix a flat a sensor killer? I heard some new cars are replacing spare donuts with a can of flat repair product.

 

It says tire sensor safe and had a huge label regarding tire sensors. Fixed my leak, that's all I care about.

 

Ugh no rain here. So wiped the layer of white dust off then took her for a early morning spin around town. Painting the drums and calipers to match the paint later today.

Turbo Hearse- Yep, I've been seeing more & more of the supposedly sensor safe sealant...

Only makes sense, biz wise ($$$), since '08 & newer all have tire sensors now...

 

Just additional info on TIRE SEALANTS.....

GM is now selling and/or providing a compressor and proprietary tire sealant cannister for some of their vehicles (wife's new SRX and the new '14 Vette, as I understand it). So I would not think the proper tire sealant would cause a problem.

GM either pilfered their technology and improved the formula for their product. OR just has a company like "Slime" produce it in a GM labeled container (like many other GM labeled products).
