Nothing too exciting today, Boo Boo got a tankful of Shell V-Power on the way back from the Rowan County Courthouse where I had to conduct a little "lawyer type business".

Man I hate having to wear a "Three Piece Monkey Suit" in 100° heat, its hard to liquify with dignity, thank Heavens for Remote Starting...nothing like getting into a pre-cooled HHR.

Well Mike, I'll trade your "Three Piece Monkey Suit" for my kidney stone that I've been dealing with since Tuesday!
I've had kidney stones before( a dozen or so) but this one has been the worst. 4 hrs in the ER Tuesday for some happy juice and now 2 days later still feeling like ----. Yeah, passed it Tuesday night but the after effects have been a real pain. No fun driving a stick shift when your right kidney is rebelling against you. The SS will stay parked for a few more days.

Remote start, it's one of those features that once you use it and realize how great it is, it's hard to buy a car without it. Like intermittent wipers, cruise control and A/C. Our first car with cruise and stereo was in mom's '72 Cutlass Supreme. Dad was so impressed, when his company car a '71 Pontiac Catalina came of lease and he needed to replace it, he searched everywhere for '73 Catalina with those features. He couldn't find one with cruise, but did find one with AM/FM stereo. Most had just AM/FM mono. His boss was cross though, wasn't happy about the extra cost, it was an expensive option. Remote start--gotta have it.

Gave mine a bath in the 100 degree heat today. Forecast says the high tomorrow is 104 and Saturday is 103. I think I'll spend the next few days inside as much as possible lol.

Just spent an hour removing chewing gum off the side of my car. Amazing how that stuff flies all over the place when you run over it! Todd(Uma)

Man are they ever tough up there in Perquimans County rroadkilll, down here in Cabarrus County its "Does the horn blow, and did it stop in the bay before Bubba messed hisself again".

All kidding aside, failing a vehicle due to leaking struts is at the inspection mechanic's discretion as they are considered part of the steering system.

Here's the "Inspection Bible" for North Carolina.....
