I'm all gassed up with E40 and ready to go road-trip. We are visiting the father-in-law I never knew in Woodland (cemetary). Today would be his birthday. Is always a difficult time for my wife, but my daughter should know about him. Does anyone know how a window flag will fare on an SS at 'highway' speed?

Window USA Flags hold up quite well at highway speeds.
I ran a pair on my Astro Van for years, replacing them every few months.
I'd run them on my Panel but with the in channel window visors, no place to put them.
Can't roll up the window to hold them in place without cracking the visors or removing them.
On Topic
We are at 100 outside right now, and sunny, HOT. I'm sitting in the house or my garage, in the AC.
I go out to the garage, work on the supercharger a bit, removed the studs from the Bad Mab stainless steel shorty Header I bought yesterday, and am cleaning it up a bit.
Supercharger is polished in most areas just reworking some tiny tight areas down to 1500 wet/dry papers sanding wet with some baby shampoo in the pressure bottles I use for the water.
I bought those rubber finger tips at the office supply store, the kind secretaries use to thumb through a stack of papers.
Fingertips were sanded down raw and bleeding trying to get into those little nooks and crannys, but these rubber tips are helping.
I'm running a window Ac unit and got a roll around one that vents out a window with a long flexible 6" hose, I bought some flexible 6" heating duct insulation and ran the AC's flex hose through it to get all that heat Out, they should sell them with Insulated flex hose in the box.
Without the AC in the Garage i'd be sitting just watching TV all day in this heat. Nice I can go out there and still get a few things worked on.
Alot easier to Heat the garage than Cool it. Time to go out there and do some more sanding and tinkering.
Had to stop and pull the flag from the window. The flag stick was bending over parallel with the roof and the spikes that hold the flag on were tearing their way through the flag. I guess I must have the wrong brand of flag. I got some good pictures that I'll post up later in their own thread maybe. I did stop at one of my favorite places.
Thanks HHR~SS~Panel. I always enjoy taking road trips. I have made it safely to my destination in Southeast Wisconsin. I must say the HHR is one of the most comfortable cars I have taken a road trip in too. After a little over 10 hours of driving neither my back nor any other part of my body is sore. I was really impressed.
Left 'em all parked today and cranked up the '67, nothing like cruising to the fireworks in a rumbling muscle car with the top down and classic rock on the radio.
Glad to hear you're enjoying your road trip ThatChevy, HHR's are super long distance mile makers, 10-14 hours behind the wheel doesn't hurt my back as much as a trip to the office in my Challenger.

Well after driving around for a few days with no resonator I've decided that it produces enough noise for me so no aftermarket muffler. I ordered a tip to fill up the hole and I think once I add an intake I should be good to go.
