I got the Alpine EX-10 installed and everything else done. Must say I am ready for bed now after working 12 hours last night and only sleeping 2 today. But the Alpine works great.

Installed my K&N intake and ordered a new filter since I picked it all up used. Still for $110 with a new filter on the way I think I did very good!

I drove one of them today, and I am wondering why my 2.4 wont even get close to what my 2.0 did on gas mileage. I am sure I have read about mileage in the 30's, mine is getting 24 if I drive it like Grandma's chauffeur. The SS was getting 27,and I defiantly drive it like I stole it, hauling the same load, whats the secret ?? Is it the big block ??

I thought about mine back home in NC, three parked in the garage and one at the hanger. We're having a great time here in Wisconsin, huge crowd at the airshow for a Monday, lots of fantastic aircraft on display.

Met a guy today while drooling over his Piper Cub, and he's got an HHR back home in Canada. I gave him a card with the HHR.net info and invited him to join up, hope he does.

We're pretty wiped out after stumbling around all day, but we have ear to ear grins plastered on our faces.

Sam did you weigh the rim/tire differences on your swap to the panel ?

My buggy is averaging 30mpg @ 70 mph..

Glad you are having a great time with the Cannibal Queen. Don't forget the camera, we would like a few highlights !

The SS is carrying more weight in tires and wheels, thats what the boss said. I think the visor is the difference, but I'm keeping it. Which spoiler should i get ?? Loop Or SS style ??

Wife is back from Tahoe and Reno visiting her mother and brother. She had my HHR for the trip so I've been driving her Ford Taurus. I was glad to see my SS again. Took it to the gas station, filled with half Ethanol, and loaded the corn tune back on it. I'm gonna take it to get washed tomorrow.
